Most collapsed tunnels we are asked to replace failed at the same place: the shoulder joint, under a snow load the frame was never rated for. This 8 m x 20 m gothic arch house is the shape we recommend above 0.45 kN/m2. The pointed profile sheds snow instead of holding it on a flat crown, the 8 mm twin wall polycarbonate cover carries its own snow load, and the frame is 275 g/m2 hot dip galvanized with 0.8 m arch spacing under the ridge.
